So we thought it might be a good idea to let you know what the plans are for Deadly Viper in 2008. We are just warming up and it is going to be a great ride. Here is quick snapshot of our Big Sumo plans for 2008.

THE BIG SUMO: DEADLY VIPER GOALS FOR 2008

BECOME EVEN MORE MISSIONAL:
It is our desire to help leaders, teams, staffs, and small groups begin strategic and intentional conversations on character, ethics, integrity, and second chances.

In 2008 we will be moving towards models that will resource you at no cost. It is our desire to have no economic barriers to acquiring these tools.

We will be developing new economic models to support our non profit initiative including building our donor base and other alliances.

Currently we are giving away the Deadly Viper Character Assassin Audiobook for free.

We will also be adding DVD content, study guides, assessment tools, portions of the book, and other resources for free download. We want zero barriers for leaders to engage with the values of Deadly Viper and be healthy, whole, and effective people.
DEADLY VIPER ASSESSMENT TOOL:
We are currently developing a FREE online assessment tool that will help leaders gauge whether they are a “warrior” or a “weakling” when it comes to character development. Are you on the verge of being hit by a character assassin? Is there an assassin with a sword to your throat and you don’t even know it?

One of the best things a growing leader can do is to clearly assess where they are at and how they are doing at any moment. This simple tool will help identify your strengths, weaknesses, and areas that may need some focused training and work. The assessment will help guide you to next steps and action items that you can take immediately.

This tool can be used on an individual basis or utilized by a company or organization for their employees.
CHOP SUEY THE NINJA PIG:
What happens when a pig dreams of being Chuck Norris one day? What do you get when a swine gets serious about kung fu and the martial arts? The answer: Chop Suey The Ninja Pig.

Chop Suey and his sidekick Pork Chop will be making their way to your computer screen in a light hearted animated mini series addressing the values of Deadly Viper.
PEOPLE OF THE SECOND CHANCE:
The “People Of The Second Chance” is a campaign which will highlight the core value of radical grace in leadership and life. Radical grace is one of the two major themes in the Deadly Viper project.

The call to action is simple: People of the Second chance do three things:
1. They serve and engage in places where people need a second chance. Whether that be in prisons, places of social injustice, or with a fellow leader who has fallen on hard times, People of the Second Chance are found giving themselves in these areas.
2. People of the Second Chance give second chances. Whether it be in business, relationships, or with other leaders, they embrace forgiveness, mercy, and are advocates for the fallen leader. POTSC spend their emotional time and energy on positive change and rebel against the concepts of revenge, payback, or taking pleasure in the destruction of another.
3. People of the Second Chance receive second chances in their own lives. Too often a leader’s greatest threat is his own critical spirit towards his own failures. Often we are our harshest critics and judges. POTSC embrace the future and continue to risk and boldly pursue their mission in life.
People of the Second Chance will be expressed in several different ways. POTSC will be working in areas where second chances are needed. We will also be providing resources and tools to help those get back on their feet. People of the Second Chance will highlight true stories of redemption and feature powerful testimonies. Deadly Viper will also be working with local churches as they adopt POTSC and have it take on their unique expression.
DEADLY VIPER GOES TO PRISON:
We are so excited to be partnering with the Prisoner Entrepreneurship Program. We will be bringing Deadly Viper into the state penitentiaries and resourcing inmates with Viper leadership tools.
20,000 LEADERS INITIATIVE:
We are building a list of 20,000 leaders who are committed to living with radical integrity and radical grace. In 2008 We will be implementing new technologies that will make it easier for leaders to be a part of this movement and connect with each other.

DEADLY VIPER PODCAST:
We are currently taping interviews with leaders from around the world sharing their insights on what it means to live with character and integrity. The podcast will be available on DeadlyViper.org and through Itunes. Listen to it on your way to work or on a business trip. The podcast will feature Mike Foster, Jud Wilhite, Anne Jackson, and other Deadly Viper contributors.
SECOND CHANCE FORUM:
In 2008 we will be creating an online forum for leaders and individuals who have been taken down by a character assassin. This will be a place where leaders to connect, find hope, and know that they are not alone.
