Something I have always appreciated about Mike is his cut-and-dry honesty, and the Deadly Viper book is no exception of that trait.

If you don't have a copy of the book Jud co-authored with Mike Foster you need to get a copy! It's is one of the books I'm currently reading and I'm loving it. I also love the title: Deadly Viper Character Assassians. Part of what makes it a great book is that its written by great guys! They tackle a tough topic, character, with integrity and creativity.

I started reading this little book and couldn't put it down. It's a little edgy (not your typical Christian Book fare) and gets to the heart of the issue of integrity, how to protect it, and what happens when we don't.

I have actually flipped through every single page in the book and it quite possibly might be the most visually stunning book I own.

Unusual book title akin to Batterson’s In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day. The book has interviews with different experts on leadership and character, and my insider source tells me that this book will have a great set of associated video clips on DVD as discussion starters for a leadership team to get abuzz about critical issues. That’s brilliant!

It is SO easy to read. It is short. It has cool pictures. But the value of this book is that it forces our minds to think about some assassins that are out to destroy our character and our lives.

The book asks the question, "How would your life change if you knew you'd see it all played out on television tomorrow?" I already have a list that I've made of things that I'm changing in my life as a result of this question.

I am reading three books that I picked up at Catalyst 07 in Atlanta this past week. The first is Deadly Viper Character Assassins by Mike Foster and Jud Wilhite, a little wonder of graphic design that deals with the enemy of integrity. Some of the assassins are "The Headless Sprinting Chicken" and "Boom Chicka Wha Wha"; the first is about trying to do it all and the latter is pretty self explanatory.
